With such powerful knowledge, SEKA, a new Japanese beauty brand, decides to share the key to a smooth and youthful complexion through their latest SEKA Whitening+ skin care line.
Made in Japan, SEKA prides itself as a believer of the Japanese age-old concept of fermentation to achieve skin rejuvenation. SEKA inherited the special combination recipe of Mt. Fuji’s Spring Water and Lactobacillus Fermented Liquid to capitalise the power of fermentation as this unique technique is able to yield the potency from food and microorganisms to reduce skin dullness and pigmentation while enhancing whitening and hydration in the skin.
Lactobacillus Fermented Liquid is an enzyme concentrate made from over 70 kinds of carefully selected organic crops including black rice that is rich in nutrients. Sourced from a 20 over years of pesticide-free production farm, this black rice has an almost-zero trace of hazardous metal.
Fermented for 3.5 years, SEKA uses 15 kinds of botanical lactic acid bacteria collected from all over the world to get the fermentation going, producing 20 kinds of beneficial amino acid and D-amino acid, as well as developing rich and depolymerised vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It is important to SEKA that the fermented liquid is depolymerised as bigger components are broken down, which permits effective absorption of nutrients into the skin.
The other main ingredient of SEKA’s beauty products is Mt. Fuji’s Spring Water. Mt. Fuji is known for its pure spring water that comes from its snow-capped peak, where 400-year-old rainwater flows through the volcanic basalt rock, not only naturally filters and purifies the water but also picks up 34 kinds of well-balanced minerals including zinc, great for skin regeneration, and silicon, known to keep skin firm and moisturised. Mt. Fuji’s Spring Water is recognised as soft water with a low hardness of 34mg/L, making it extremely gentle for the skin. Unlike regular water, it also has a smaller water cluster value of 89Hz, allowing it to penetrate skin deep along with the various minerals. SEKA extracted its spring water from a 150m deep natural underground reservoir at 1000m in altitude on the mountain, ensuring the freshest batch of Mt. Fuji’s Spring Water for its products.
For a more holistic approach, SEKA is mindful that scent plays an important role in improving mental and emotional wellness. Geranium is added in SEKA’s products as a prime fragrance for geranium is known to relieve stress, reduce depression, and uplifts mood. Besides being a great ingredient to keep the mind and body balance, Geranium is also a popular ingredient used to help regulate skin’s sebum production as well as to maintain a clear, smooth skin.
The special fermentation recipe of Mt. Fuji’s Spring Water and Lactobacillus Fermented Liquid along with Geranium, are the three main ingredients that can be found in the new SEKA Whitening+ range.
